Laser Lipo
What is it?
Laser Lipo also known as Ultrasound Cavitation is a relatively new aesthetic treatment for inch loss. There are no needles, no anaesthetic, no downtime and no pain. It is 100% safe.
Ultrasound is used to specifically target problem areas of fat. It immediately reduces the amount of fat cells in the area being treated, which are then passed through the body through your natural immune system. Laser Lipo also tightens the skin and promotes the production of collagen in the skin.
How does it work?
Ultrasound Cavitation is a method that transmits ultrasonic (an oscillating sound pressure wave) energy to the fat cells, which causes them to implode, become liquid and be carried through the body for disposal through the natural immune system.
Our treatment uses a mechanical method, in the form of the movement of the treatment head on the skin, which helps to stimulate the lymphatic system to speed the elimination process of the fat cells out of the body via the immune system.
What will I feel during the treatment?
The treatment is pain free and feels the same as an ultrasound scan.
How long will it take to see results?
It is possible to see results the same day. However, it normally takes between four to seven days for your body to eliminate the fat cells.
This will depend on your immune system. More results will be seen in one to two weeks.
For maximum effects, five to ten treatments are recommended. This is dependent on the size of the area you want to treat, and your personal goals.
Light exercise for three to four days after the treatment, and a sensible diet, will also affect results.
No carbonated drinks or sugar should be consumed 24 hours before and after treatment.
One and a half litres of water should be consumed before and after the treatment.
Avoidance of caffeine 24 hours before and after treatment is advisable.
